Become a tutor at the Literacy Center. Volunteers of all ages are needed and don’t necessarily need prior teaching experience to be trained to tutor reading or math. New volunteers can attend one of our 7 p.m. Thursday night Tutor Training sessions to get started. Returning tutors, WE NEED YOU! PLEASE CALL to sign up.
Teach ESL! Come experience the fun of teaching English as a Second Language to highly motivated students who wish to thrive in our society. If you speak English, you can teach it!
English Classes. The Center offers free classes or tutoring for those speakers of other languages who wish to learn English.
Learn Spanish! Bob Moore will be teaching two Spanish Classes here at the Literacy Center on Tuesday and Thursday evenings. Beginners may enroll in the 6 p.m. class, and intermediate students may enroll in the 7 p.m. class. Judy Adams will teach families including children 8+ years old on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons at 4 p.m.
We’re so grateful to the citizens of the community and to Lehi City for making it possible for those who desire to come and be evaluated and tutored in reading and math. The tutors then have resources to give help where help is needed.

One-on one tutoring available year-round, including summer sessions in the following subjects:

Math (Basic through calculus, including algebra)
ESL (English as a Second Language)

Spanish
