  • Online Citation Payments Now Available - You can now view and pay your court citations online without calling the court for your docket number! CLICK HERE to view and pay your citations. Please note, if your citation is not listed, you will need to call the court.
  • Online Monthly Payments Now Available - You can now pay your court fines online at http://lehicourt.xpressbillpay.com. You will need to call the Lehi Justice Court to retrieve your docket number in order to pay.
  • Payment Box - The Lehi Justice Court has installed a payment box for your convenience. Payments will no longer be accepted at the window after 4:30 pm. Payments put in the box after 4:30 pm will be credited for the next business day. The payment box is located at the front door of the court building.

Court Schedule

General Information

Court Appearance: Most criminal code violations require an appearance before a judge.  Defendants should contact the court between 5 and 14 days after the citation issue date to schedule a court date. Two exceptions to this are open container violations and doing business without a license. Both of these violations can be handled without an appearance. If you are required to appear before the judge, PLEASE DO NOT BE LATE, COURT STARTS ON TIME.

Small Claims: The small claims court of Lehi is designated to settle legal issues and problems arising from contractual or service disputes or other claims which do not exceed the sum of $7,500.  Small claims court allows and individual or business to be compensated by a party who has not performed according to an agreement or who has committed some wrongdoing. Form for filing  small claims are available at the court house.

Driving Directions: If you are driving on I-15, take the Lehi Main Street exit and go west on Main Street until you reach Center Street (approximately 9 blocks). Go north (turn right) and we are located a block and a half north on the east (right) side of the street. See map.

Paying Fines

Checks/Money Orders: Personal checks and money orders are accepted. Make checks out to LEHI JUSTICE COURT. Please put your case number or citation number on the check to ensure application to your case. Return checks incur a mandatory $20.00 service charge. Any return check not cleared within 30 days results in an additional Class "C" misdemeanor charge and the issuance of a cash-only arrest warrant. Payment to clear a returned check must be cash, a certified check, a money order, or an approved credit card.

Credit/Debit Cards: We accept debit/credit cards from American Express, Discover, MasterCard and Visa.

Cash: Cash is only accepted when paying in person. When mailing a payment, PLEASE DO NOT SEND CASH!

Speeding 1-10 mph over $82
Speeding 11-15 mph over $107
Speeding 16-20 mph over $157
Stopping violation $82
Improper lane or passing $82
Following too close $82
Failure to register $40
  • An accident adds $30 to the amount of the ticket.
  • No insurance or driving on suspension tickets require you to appear before the judge. Please call in advance for an appointment.
  • These fines are subject to change, at the discretion of the judge.
Other Citation Information

The State of Utah mandates that a defendant must contact the court no less that 5 working days or more than 14 calendar days after receiving the citation. A "fail to appear" warrant may be issued, a fee added and your driver's license suspended if defendant in not in compliance with this law
